Clacus visualizes conditional flood exposure and modeled structure damage at the parcel level using publicly available data. It exists to help people explore and understand potential exposure. It does not predict whether, when, or how much a property will flood.
Clacus combines third-party data (elevation, flood zones, assessment values, building footprints) that may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors, and applies simplified models. Water is shown as a static "bathtub" surface; rainfall, drainage, wave action, duration, and river or storm-surge dynamics are not simulated. Values and depths are labeled by source and status; figures that cannot be verified are withheld rather than fabricated. Coverage is limited to supported areas and may be partial. Use at your own risk.
